Florent PEIFFER

Après des études de sciences politiques à l’IEP de Rennes Florent Peiffer fait ses premiers pas de journaliste au Mexique. Pendant 1 an il intervient dans l’émission matinale de la radio nationale en tant que chroniqueur étranger. Cette expérience l’amène à parcourir le pays pour réaliser des reportages. A son retour, il complète sa formation par un master en management des médias à Nantes et rejoint la société de production 2p2l au sein de laquelle il va apprendre le métier de JRI. Il réalise plusieurs reportages pour France 3 et un documentaire sur les enfants soldats en RDC. 4 ans plus tard, Florent Peiffer est recruté par Direct8 pour animer les matinales. En 2006 il intègre France 24 et participe au lancement de la chaîne. Pendant 4 ans il y présente différentes tranches d’information et un magazine sur le moyen-orient. En 2010 il rejoint Itélé pour animer la “newsroom” et le débat des éditorialistes. Il anime ensuite la matinale WE, l’émission CQFD et l’émission D’Un Monde à l’Autre. A la rentrée 2016 il prend la tête de la matinale jusqu’au mouvement de grève qui conduira à son départ. Quelques mois plus tard, Florent Peiffer participe à l’aventure Explicite sur les réseaux sociaux et créé YouBLive, la 1ère société de production digitale 100 % Live. Florent Peiffer poursuit parallèlement sa carrière de journaliste présentateur occasionnellement sur BFMTV.

After studying political science at the IEP in Rennes, Florent Peiffer took his first steps as a journalist in Mexico. For 1 year he took part in the morning program on national radio as a foreign reporter. This experience led him to travel the country making reports. Upon his return, he completed his training with a master’s degree in media management in Nantes and joined the production company 2p2l where he learned his photojournalist trade. He produced several reports for France 3 and a documentary on child soldiers in the DRC. 4 years later, Florent Peiffer is recruited by Direct8 to host the breakfast show. In 2006 he joined France 24 and participated in the launch of the channel. For 4 years he presented various pieces of information and a magazine on the Middle East. In 2010 he joined Itélé to host the “newsroom” and the editorial debate. It then hosted the WE breakfast show, the CQFD programme and the D’Un Monde à l’Autre programme. At the beginning of 2016, he took the lead on the breakfast show until the strike action that led to his departure. A few months later, Florent Peiffer took part in the Explicit adventure on social networking and created YouBLive, the first 100% live digital production company. Florent Peiffer also pursued in parallel his career as an occasional journalist presenter on BFMTV.
