Approach production like a Site Reliability Engineer

Several large technology companies have a role called “Site Reliability Engineer” (SRE). The legend says that the work of the SREs is to change the race of a Formula 1 car while it is rolling on the track. To do this, SREs accept risks and design tools and procedures to mitigate the impact of failures, while accompanying the evolution of large systems without production stoppages.
