Increasing the security of the IoT, a technical and legal approach

More and more smart, internet-connected objects are making an appearance in our daily lives, for home automation, sports, health or leisure. Innovation in this domain is growing but sometimes to the detriment of security and privacy. The aim of this speech is to set out the risks but, above all, to introduce some initial technical solutions and shed light on the new legislative provisions that apply to connected objects in the form of the GDPR. The speech will also provide an opportunity to present the new European Certification in Technical and Legal Security for Smart Objects, IoTrust.
