Passionné par le journalisme et l’entrepreneuriat, j’ai fondé 8e étage pour prouver aux médias traditionnels que les lecteurs sont prêts à payer pour de l’information de qualité.

My name is Maxime Lelong. I’m a journalist who worked for VICE magazine and Le Monde before founding 8e étage. I’m fascinated by journalism and entrepreneurship. I strongly believe people are prepared to pay for quality journalism online, but I think regular media still haven’t found the way to get them to pay. My only mission, as a next-generation media owner, is to find a solution to this remarkable equation.
